Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish individualized therapy strategies for clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the holistic needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Wellness Recovery & Counseling Centers, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals and families struggling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience working with underserved communities or populations with limited access to traditional mental health resources.

Compensation and Benefits
