Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans through thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients' needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing scientifically-based practices.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy, to effectively address client issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for all clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal standards to safeguard client information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC role focuses on clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and issues related to relationships. Our diverse client base allows counselors to employ varied approaches, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual or group.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• At least two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Thorough understanding of the legal requirements and ethical standards governing counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
