Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible remote work setting while utilizing teletherapy technologies to connect with clients. Our outpatient office is equipped with up-to-date telehealth systems that enable our counselors to deliver therapeutic services efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, to individuals, couples, and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, integrating insights from other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay current on advancements in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling center serves a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Whether treating anxiety, depression, trauma, or issues associated with substance use, our LPCs prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment for all clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing their individual experiences and fostering a strong therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport with a varied clientele.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and an eagerness to adopt new interventions based on current research is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
