Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy using evidence-based approaches tailored to meet each client's needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that address mental health issues.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of the latest insights and practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient demographic, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your contributions will play a critical role in enhancing the mental well-being of clients across different age groups and backgrounds, as you help them navigate their personal struggles and achieve healthier lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical setting.
• An understanding of and adherence to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-focused therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a telehealth framework or comfort with virtual therapy platforms is beneficial.
• Prior knowledge of multi-disciplinary approaches to therapy and collaboration is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 – $110,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus and uncapped compensation potential directly related to patient engagement and outcomes.
