Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Psychosocial Assessments and clinical evaluations to establish a deep understanding of each client's circumstances and needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual clients, incorporating structured interventions that address mental health and substance use issues.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with care teams, clients, and community partners to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a well-rounded support system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will play an essential role in promoting recovery and resilience among clients from different backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects individual experiences and beliefs.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active LPCC license in the state of California is mandatory to practice in this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience is essential, showcasing your expertise and commitment to quality mental health care.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems to facilitate efficient and secure patient interactions.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, enabling you to effectively manage your caseload and team interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting, dealing with low-income or marginalized populations.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Previous involvement in program development or mental health advocacy initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 120,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage.
