Experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Remote Position

Work Environment

This remote position provides flexibility and an opportunity to work in an innovative, client-centered environment. While the main operations are conducted from the comfort of your own space, you will remain closely connected to our team through regular virtual meetings and collaboration tools. The outpatient setting allows for a diverse array of therapy, accommodating clients of various ages and backgrounds, all from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, couple, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a tailored approach for each client's unique situation.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, current issues, and develop personalized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to address diverse mental health needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with practice standards and state regulations, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing the practice of counseling, safeguarding client confidentiality and professional integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with clients from various backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, and relationship issues. Your empathetic approach will help foster a safe and trusting environment, making a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and families navigating their mental health journeys. You will utilize your experience to engage effectively with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
• A strong commitment to providing inclusive and culturally sensitive care is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a therapeutic setting, particularly with children and families, is preferred.
• Previous knowledge or training in trauma-informed care and various evidence-based therapeutic practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
