Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to manage your schedule while working within the structure provided by a community health clinic. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and fellow counselors to deliver comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of clients' needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and reflects the progress and treatment changes for each client.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights on client treatment plans and progress to enhance coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse adult population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for establishing rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline clinical documentation and patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specific areas of counseling such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals, contributing to a holistic approach to client care.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities is advantageous, including but not limited to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
