Work Environment

This role is set within a remote outpatient counseling framework, allowing counselors the flexibility to interact with clients on their terms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate tailored treatment plans that align with each client's goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques custom-designed to fit the specific needs of clients struggling with diverse mental health challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care that supports overall client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards relevant to counseling practice.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying informed about current research and trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals from various backgrounds through outpatient services. You will have the opportunity to support clients encountering challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Building trusting therapeutic relationships will be central to your role, as you help clients navigate their unique experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in Texas is a must.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling, ideally within a clinical environment.
• Thorough understanding of ethical standards and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with diverse clients and foster therapeutic relationships effectively.
• Competency in managing EMR systems to ensure accurate client record-keeping and reporting.

Preferred Experience
