- Licensed Veterinary Medical Technologist (LVMT) credentialed in the state of Tennessee - required
- Prior experience in Emergency or Specialty Medicine is strongly preferred
- A strong interest in learning and contributing to one or more of the following areas:
- Emergency & Critical Care
- ICU & Triage
- Surgery & Anesthesia
- Internal Medicine
- Oncology
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency

As a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technologist at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center - Chattanooga, you will play a vital role in patient care across emergency, ICU, and specialty departments. This role demands clinical precision, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing thorough patient assessments and providing evidence-based, compassionate nursing care
- Executing safe and accurate administration of medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests
- Inducing, monitoring, and recovering patients under general anesthesia using advanced monitoring equipment (ECG, capnography, blood pressure, etc.)
- Preparing and assisting in surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries
- Providing critical care support including triage, stabilization, and ICU monitoring
- Maintaining accurate, timely medical records and detailed treatment sheets
- Supporting DVMs in diagnostics, clinical procedures, and client education
- Mentoring and guiding newer team members and contributing to a culture of collaboration
- Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and hospital standards across departments
This is a dynamic, hands-on position for LVMTs who are ready to take ownership of their role, support patients through complex cases, and contribute to a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.
