Medical Assistant – Pediatric Focus

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Forest Hills, NY

Position Summary

We’re seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric services in a high-paced family care setting. This role involves managing patient care, assisting with exams, and ensuring a welcoming environment for children and families. Bilingual skills in Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Uzbeki, or Arabic are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect vital signs and update electronic health records
• Assist during pediatric examinations and vaccinations
• Handle basic lab work and specimen preparation
• Manage scheduling, check-ins, and follow-ups
• Maintain clear communication with parents and clinical staff
• Ensure exam rooms and supplies are always prepared

Qualifications

• Completed MA certification or comparable training
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Spanish-speaking preferred
• Reliable transportation for travel to both practice locations
