Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

What You’ll Do:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient use.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing.
• Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
• Assist with patient education, explaining procedures and follow-up instructions.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and verify insurance information.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, filing, and managing patient flow.
• Ensure that all clinical practices and patient interactions adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, caring, and professional attitude toward patients and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative
