Job Title: Medical Assistant – Hospital Setting (Georgia)

Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient use.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Assist with patient education, explaining procedures and follow-up instructions.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and verify insurance information.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, filing, and managing patient flow.
- Ensure that all clinical practices and patient interactions adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude toward patients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative
