Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, weight), and update patient medical records.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures, including preparing medical instruments and equipment.
- Assist physicians with physical exams, in-office procedures, and diagnostic testing.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and assist with insurance verification and referrals.
- Collect and process specimens for lab testing (blood draws, urinalysis, etc.), ensuring proper documentation and patient care.
- Manage patient documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Epic experience a plus).
- Schedule follow-up appointments, coordinate referrals, and facilitate prescription refill requests.
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, follow-up care, and health maintenance.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Collaborate daily with providers, nurses, front office staff, and case managers to ensure smooth clinic flow.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, ideally as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS/CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
