Graceful Beginnings OB/GYN is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician to join our dynamic team in Corpus Christi, Texas. Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office, allowing for a collaborative and patient-centered work environment. As a team member, you will work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals and Certified Nurse Midwives, contributing to an ethos of shared responsibility and continuous improvement in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, encompassing tasks such as history and physical exams, consultative services, daily rounding, and discharge planning.
• Conduct non-stress tests, manage labor checks, assist in surgeries, and deliver newborns, ensuring all procedures align with best practices and standards.
• Act as the first assistant in C-sections and GYN surgeries, collaborating with other medical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and provide care for all patients undergoing induction, ensuring consistent support and clinical assessment.
• Triage and treat unregistered OB and GYN patients who present through the Emergency Department, providing necessary medical care until private attending physicians can take over.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, maintaining meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to discussions about service improvement and patient care standards.
• Engage in collaborative practice agreements with the midwifery team, fostering a holistic approach to patient management.
