We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician to join our team at Sapphire Sky Obstetrics in Irving, Texas. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our Irving facility, which incorporates advanced telehealth capabilities to ensure accessibility for patients. Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations of patients in accordance with your specialty areas. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Chart Documentation: Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates to problem lists and lab results to optimize workflow and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Referral Management: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care management, demonstrating a keen ability to determine when to refer patients for additional services, including behavioral health and specialty care.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in peer review and chart audit processes to enhance patient outcomes, providing feedback that assists in improving practice standards and healthcare delivery.
• Continuing Education: Commit to your professional development by attending annual CME courses and additional training as needed to remain current with new guidelines and best practices in OB/GYN care.
• Team Collaboration: Engage proactively in clinical provider meetings and contribute positively to the team environment, recognizing and supporting the efforts of your colleagues in delivering top-notch patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve women of diverse backgrounds in the Irving area, focusing on those who may be underserved or at-risk. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the unique needs of various patient demographics, considering their cultural, socioeconomic, and healthcare-related challenges in your patient care approach.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with an active Texas medical license.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model is a plus.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of one year of clinical experience post-residency in an OB/GYN capacity is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse patient caseload and working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
