Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing appropriate treatment plans. You will be expected to follow evidence-based clinical guidelines and engage patients in discussions about preventive care during each visit.
• Chart Documentation: Utilize an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for comprehensive record-keeping, ensuring all interactions are documented to facilitate ongoing patient management and care continuity.
• Referral Management: Collaborate with specialists and other members of the care team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to their complex medical needs.
• Clinical Audits and Quality Improvement: Participate in peer review and chart audits to maintain high standards of care, implement feedback, and contribute to the development of care pathways.
• Compassionate Patient Interaction: Demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity and compassion while understanding the diverse needs and socioeconomic situations of your patients.
• Continuous Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education, including attending Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars and specialized training sessions, to stay current on best practices in OB/GYN care.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in clinical provider meetings and encourage a supportive atmosphere among staff, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active medical license in New Jersey.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical practice experience in an OB/GYN setting is required.
• Experience working with underserved populations and familiarity with community health models is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
