Internal Medicine Physician - Full-Time Position in Seattle, WA

Position Overview

The Expert Care Internal Group is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our hospitalist team in Seattle, Washington. This full-time position operates on a 7-on/7-off schedule, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a work-life balance. In addition to the primary role, opportunities for PRN (as needed) shifts are also available, providing flexibility without a permanent commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to adult patients, addressing both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform thorough health assessments, including detailed health histories and physical examinations tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Utilize clinical guidelines effectively in managing and treating patients, ensuring all care provided is evidence-based and aligned with best practices.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, coordinating resources to optimize patient care and management strategies.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and progress, integrating their feedback into care plans.
• Stay current with advancements in medicine, integrating new knowledge into practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in shared on-call responsibilities, ensuring continuous patient support.

The patients you will serve include a diverse population in Seattle, with varying medical needs ranging from routine health maintenance to complex chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active medical license in Washington State or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills, with knowledge of adult care protocols and evidence-based medicine.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in medical decision-making.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating meaningful interactions with patients and teammates.
• A deep commitment to providing empathetic, patient-centered healthcare.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a hospitalist role or similar inpatient settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.
• Previous involvement in quality improvement initiatives or clinical research is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 220,000 to 300,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, we provide an annual performance bonus and regular salary increases based on performance.
