Work Environment

This position is based entirely onsite in our telehealth-enabled facility located in Tacoma, WA. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities. Our facility provides a supportive environment that leverages technology to engage with patients, enhance communication among the care team, and streamline patient care delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment for patients in our long-term care center, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
• Monitoring and reviewing patient care using clinic records and quality data to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate with various services, including specialty referrals, hospital admissions, and home healthcare, to comprehensively manage patient needs.
• Engage actively in daily team huddles as a primary clinical resource, contributing insights that drive care quality improvements.
• Foster a collaborative culture by supporting the Regional Medical Director and Center Administrator in operational initiatives.
• Complete all necessary medical record documentation efficiently and in compliance with our quality-based coding protocols, collaborating with medical coders to enhance coding accuracy.
• Participate in quality assurance meetings to discuss patient care outcomes, refine policies, and address record-keeping challenges.
• Explore growth opportunities within the center, contributing to new service development by leveraging your expertise and innovative ideas.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant licensing, certification, and accreditation requirements.
• Dedicate time primarily to direct patient care, balancing patient-facing tasks with administrative duties related to care management.
• Engage in ongoing professional education and research to stay current in the field of internal medicine.

Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Washington State, with a willingness to obtain licenses in other states as necessary.
• A graduate of an accredited Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine through the ABMS or AOA.
• Proven verbal and written communication capabilities, essential for effective interactions with colleagues and patients.
• A strong commitment to integrated, team-based care models.
• Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to a value-based care environment.
• Exceptional patient service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Willingness to participate in a tuberculosis screening program as this is a patient-facing role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes an annual salary ranging from USD 280,000 to 300,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is offered, which includes:
