Key Responsibilities

As a Pain Management Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that leverage a multidisciplinary approach, including medication management, interventional procedures, and physical therapy referrals.
• Administering a variety of pain management techniques, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and both lumar and cervical epidurals.
• Collaborating closely with physical therapists, psychologists, and pharmacists to ensure integrated patient care and optimal health outcomes.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and providing ongoing education regarding pain management strategies and self-care techniques.
• Staying current with the latest research and trends in pain management to continually incorporate evidence-based practices into your clinical approach.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and legal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients suffering from various types of chronic pain, including but not limited to lower back pain, knee pain, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia. You will be instrumental in helping patients reclaim their quality of life by understanding their unique pain experiences and providing targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation or a relevant specialty.
• A valid medical license to practice in Maryland.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, we prefer candidates with:

• At least one year of experience in pain management or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interventional pain management techniques.
• Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 350,000 – 500,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a performance-based bonus structure. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
