We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to join our esteemed team at Pro Active Internal Care Clinic in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care in a Concierge Medicine setting, which includes direct patient engagement and house calls. Work Environment

Our clinic is located in the heart of Houston, Texas, known for its vibrant culture and diverse community. The work setting is onsite, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare providers. You will primarily work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities, allowing for a manageable work-life balance while ensuring our patients receive continuous care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient health by evaluating and treating individuals at our center, adhering strictly to established standards of care.
• Utilize available data and conduct thorough chart reviews to monitor patient outcomes and improve care quality.
• Coordinate crucial patient services, which may include specialty referrals, hospitalization management, and home health services.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing your medical expertise to daily huddles.
• Document all patient interactions promptly and accurately, collaborating closely with quality-focused medical coders to ensure precise coding.
• Be a key player in fostering a team-oriented practice environment, exemplifying professionalism and approachability while supporting the Regional Medical Director and Center Administrator.
• Remain compliant with all relevant licensing, certification, and accrediting body standards while following clinical leadership protocols.
• Engage in continual professional development by pursuing ongoing medical education and research activities pertinent to internal medicine.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, focusing primarily on patients who require long-term care and comprehensive health assessments. We emphasize integrated, team-based care, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license, with a willingness to obtain licensure in Texas and potentially other states as required.
• A graduate of a recognized MD or DO program from an accredited university.
• Board-certified or eligibility to attain certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine from the ABMS or AOA.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Experience in integrated, team-based care and a readiness to adapt to a value-based care approach.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in long-term care, geriatric medicine, or concierge medicine settings is preferred.
• Proven success in employing a patient-centered approach in clinical practice.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary team settings to foster collaborative care planning.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 280,000 to 300,000, commensurate with experience.
