Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair and replacement, thoracic aortic surgery, and heart transplantation, utilizing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and referring physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient medical histories and physical conditions, ordering necessary diagnostic tests to evaluate surgical needs.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans, considering preoperative, operative, and postoperative care, with close follow-up for each patient.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives, participate in trials, and attend academic conferences to maintain a strong knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Mentor and educate medical residents, fellows, and students, encouraging a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning within the surgical team.
• Participate in on-call duties as part of an equitable rotation, guaranteeing that all patients receive comprehensive care regardless of hours.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in a wide range of cardiovascular surgical procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration and establish rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 600,000 to 800,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
