Work Environment

This position entails working onsite at our clinic in Saint Paul, recognized for its supportive and collegial atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities, fostering an environment where you can focus on patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Internal Medicine Physician, your essential duties will include:

• Managing a diverse panel of adult patients, addressing their health concerns comprehensively.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary care by collaborating effectively with a team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Reviewing patient medical histories and conducting thorough evaluations to establish accurate diagnoses and create effective treatment plans.
• Delivering evidence-based, compassionate care while actively engaging and educating patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
• Exemplifying patient-centered behavior and maintaining a strong commitment to enhancing patient satisfaction.
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives and peer review meetings to elevate the standard of care.
• Mentoring and supervising Advanced Practice Professionals, fostering their growth through sharing knowledge and experiences.
• Contributing to the academic and research activities of the organization and staying current with advancements in the field.
• Partnering with referring physicians and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience within the TRU Care network.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient care will primarily focus on adults, catering to a diverse population with varying medical needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency and/or fellowship training in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibly in Internal Medicine.
• Proficient understanding of assessment techniques, diagnosis, and treatment protocols relevant to the specialty.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with both patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to demonstrate patient-valued behaviors and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and education.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in a similar healthcare setting, particularly in concierge or house call medicine, will find their skills and insights highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and performance improvement methodologies will be beneficial in adapting quickly to our practice's workflows.

Compensation and Benefits
