Key Responsibilities

• Patient Examination: Conduct detailed assessments of patients to evaluate their skin concerns, documenting medical histories and lifestyle factors that may impact skin health.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Identify and diagnose dermatological conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, and skin cancers, developing tailored treatment plans to address specific patient needs.
• Prescribing Medications: Empower patients by prescribing appropriate medications, including topical creams and oral antibiotics, to manage symptoms effectively.
• Cosmetic Procedures: Enhance patients' aesthetic well-being by performing various cosmetic procedures, such as botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser therapies, designed to rejuvenate and improve skin appearance.
• Skin Biopsies: Perform skin biopsies to obtain samples for diagnostic testing, ensuring accurate condition assessments.
• Dermatologic Surgery: Execute minor surgical procedures, such as excising skin lesions, mole removals, and managing cysts with precision to improve patient outcomes.
• Skin Cancer Screening: Conduct routine skin cancer screenings and serve as an advocate for skin cancer prevention by educating patients on self-examination techniques.
• Allergy Testing: Implement allergy testing protocols to identify triggers for patients suffering from skin allergies, enabling informed treatment approaches.
• Phototherapy: Provide phototherapy treatments as necessary for conditions like psoriasis and vitiligo, ensuring continuous monitoring for optimal results.
• Dermatopathology Collaboration: Collaborate with dermatopathologists to analyze skin biopsy results to determine exact diagnoses.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
