Work Environment

The Family Medicine Physician will work onsite in Monterey, California. Here, you will benefit from a collaborative atmosphere, working closely with fellow healthcare providers, including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals. The operational schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our practice utilizes cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate and efficient documentation and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and reviews of medical history that inform care decisions.
• Design and implement tailored care plans for both acute and chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and other common ailments.
• Provide preventive care services like routine screenings, immunizations, and counseling on wellness to enhance patient health and quality of life.
• Manage chronic diseases by offering ongoing support, education, and resources that empower patients to take charge of their health.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.
• Utilize advanced EHR systems for accurate documentation and efficient patient information management.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.

• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and colleagues.
