Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and diagnostic assessments for patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and abnormal test results.
• Perform and interpret a range of diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and cardiac catheterizations to ensure precise diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, lifestyle changes, and advanced interventional procedures tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Execute interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stenting, ensuring a high level of expertise and care.
• Work closely with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated patient care and effectively transition patients through different levels of cardiac services.
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health, disease prevention strategies, and ongoing management approaches to encourage active participation in their care.
• Monitor patient outcomes, assess treatment success, and modify care plans as needed, to enhance health outcomes and quality of life.
• Engage in clinical research and trials, contributing to the advancement of cardiology knowledge and treatment modalities.
• Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and professional development to remain updated with the latest advancements in the cardiology field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse array of patients, including those suffering from chronic heart conditions, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and structural heart issues. Qualifications

• An MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license for practice in Arizona.
• Proficiency in cardiovascular diagnostics and treatments, along with a commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While the position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience, candidates with further experience in interventional cardiology or complex cardiovascular conditions will find their skills highly valued within our practice.

Compensation and Benefits
