Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our modern clinic, which is integrated within a state-of-the-art hospital facility. Our collaborative work environment allows dermatologists to work closely with a team of professionals, including medical coders, nurses, and support staff. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Patient Examinations: Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess skin conditions and gather medical histories.
• Diagnose and Treat: Identify and manage a broad spectrum of dermatological issues including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and skin cancers. Develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Prescribe Medications: Issue both topical and systemic medications, guiding patients on their use and expected outcomes.
• Conduct Cosmetic Procedures: Carry out aesthetic treatments such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and laser therapy to enhance patients' appearances.
• Perform Dermatologic Surgery: Execute minor surgical procedures including but not limited to skin excisions, mole removals, and cyst drainages.
• Implement Skin Cancer Screenings: Regularly conduct skin assessments for early detection of skin cancer, supplemented by patient education on skin health and prevention strategies.
• Allergy Testing: Provide allergy testing services and educate patients on managing skin allergies.
• Administer Phototherapy: Offer phototherapy treatments for conditions like psoriasis and vitiligo, assessing their efficacy.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care and specific systemic condition management.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest advancements in dermatology, integrating new knowledge into practice.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Holding board certification in Dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology or equivalent.
• Active Medical License: A current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
• Dermatopathology Training: While optional, additional training in dermatopathology will be viewed favorably.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a dermatological setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to enhance patient documentation and communication.
• Experience in performing both medical and cosmetic dermatological procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 400,000 to 600,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
