Work Environment

This position is based onsite, providing care through concierge medicine and house calls, allowing for thorough and personalized patient interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing in-depth and personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols based on clinical evaluations and feedback.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, counselors, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Provide medication management, making informed decisions about prescriptions while closely observing the patient's response.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives that promote mental health awareness and combat the stigma surrounding addiction.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay abreast of advancements in the field of psychiatry.

The primary demographic served consists of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, encompassing a range from alcohol and opioids to other forms of addiction. Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a focus in Psychiatry from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as a psychiatrist in Massachusetts.
• Completion of a residency program in Psychiatry, preferentially with a focus on addiction psychiatry.
• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate care for individuals with substance use disorders, emphasizing a non-judgmental approach.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding mental health and substance abuse treatment.
• Proficient in medication management specific to mental health and substance use disorders.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
