Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and SPECT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and management of various medical conditions.
• Collaborate with radiologic technologists to ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction during imaging processes.
• Thoroughly analyze imaging results to provide precise diagnoses and informed treatment recommendations to both patients and referring physicians.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records in alignment with healthcare regulations and documentation protocols for future reference and continuity of care.
• Engage in continual professional development to stay informed on emerging nuclear medicine technologies, ensuring that you provide the best patient care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency in nuclear medicine, qualifying for board certification.
• Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory.
• Current certifications pertinent to nuclear medicine and possession of comprehensive knowledge in interpreting imaging results.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to patients and interdisciplinary team members clearly and compassionately.
• Proficiency in adhering to radiation safety standards and regulations, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting, focusing on general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, and hybrid imaging technologies (e.g., PET/CT, SPECT/CT).
• Hands-on experience with radionuclide therapies for various cancers, specifically thyroid, neuroendocrine, prostate, and liver tumors.
• A demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative work style within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

Your efforts and dedication will be compensated with an annual salary ranging from USD 500,000 to 600,000. In addition to competitive compensation, our benefits package includes:
