Work Environment

The Psychiatrist will work onsite in our outpatient office located in Baltimore, Maryland. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, utilizing evidence-based assessment protocols to accurately diagnose various psychiatric disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and ongoing patient collaboration.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring regular monitoring of patient responses and adjustments to regimens as necessary.
• Facilitate ongoing therapeutic interventions, employing various modalities—including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive counseling, and psychoeducation—to support patient recovery.
• Engage in case conferences with colleagues to review patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies, fostering a team-oriented approach.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely electronic medical records (EMRs) that comply with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest best practices in psychiatric care through participation in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults from diverse backgrounds who experience a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Your clinical insights will directly impact their treatment outcomes and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience as a practicing psychiatrist, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
