Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas. Our facility is designed to promote efficiency and comfort, featuring state-of-the-art medical equipment and resources. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties shared among the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations through comprehensive medical history reviews, detailed physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine along with the latest clinical advancements.
• Order and interpret various diagnostic tests, including laboratory analyses and imaging studies, to create accurate diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications while monitoring therapeutic responses and making adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including specialists and support staff, ensuring holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Provide education and counseling to patients on prevention strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to enhance health outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Engage in ongoing medical research, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to team training, ensuring advanced knowledge in internal medicine.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, predominantly adults facing chronic illness, acute conditions, and preventive health needs. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is essential.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas is a must.
• Adept clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice are essential.

Compensation and Benefits
