Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret various nuclear medicine imaging procedures, such as PET and SPECT scans, to diagnose and monitor medical conditions effectively.
• Collaborate closely with radiologic technologists to ensure that patients are comfortable and safe during imaging procedures, addressing any concerns they may have.
• Thoroughly analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop tailored treatment recommendations for patients.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with documentation protocols, ensuring the accuracy of all findings and recommendations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in nuclear medicine technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• You must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a comprehensive medical training program.
• Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty training program is mandatory, leading to board certification eligibility.
• You must possess a current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
• Active certifications relevant to nuclear medicine practice are essential.
• Proficiency in interpreting nuclear imaging results and effectively conveying clinical significance to colleagues and patients is required.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary to discuss imaging findings clearly with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care with a keen adherence to radiation safety guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Considerable expertise in clinical nuclear medicine—specifically in areas such as nuclear cardiology, radionuclide therapy, and hybrid imaging modalities (PET/CT, SPECT/CT).
• Experience with unsealed source radionuclide therapies for various cancer types, including thyroid, neuroendocrine, prostate, and liver tumors, is highly desirable.
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary in the range of $500,000 to $600,000 per year, Tower Health Urgent Care offers a robust benefits package which includes:
