Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite, with the advantage of incorporating telehealth services to enhance patient accessibility and convenience. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekends or evening shifts as needed to accommodate urgent care requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and developmental screenings to monitor child growth and health over time.
• Diagnose and treat a wide array of common childhood illnesses and injuries, ensuring accurate medical evaluations.
• Administer vaccinations and implement preventive care strategies to protect children's health.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive treatment plans for children with chronic or complex health conditions.
• Work in coordination with our multidisciplinary team and community partners to provide holistic care.
• Educate parents and caregivers about health maintenance, nutrition, and child development milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily focused on treating children from infancy through young adulthood. Our patient demographic includes healthy children and those with various medical conditions, allowing you to apply a broad spectrum of clinical skills and expertise in a dynamic setting. We aim to enhance community health and ensure that every child receives personalized and attentive care as part of family-centered pediatric practices.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.
• Active state medical license with board certification in Pediatrics.
• Successful completion of a three-year residency in Pediatrics, demonstrating extensive clinical training.
• Exceptional communication skills complemented by a compassionate bedside manner.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to diagnose complex medical issues.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a healthcare team.
• A commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with pediatric best practices.
• No prior board actions against your medical license.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in a pediatric setting is preferred, allowing for a seamless integration into our practice.
• Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus and will enhance the range of services we provide.

Compensation and Benefits
