We strive for a flexible scheduling system that balances the demands of patient care with the well-being of our staff, typically encompassing 40-45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and SPECT scans, ensuring accurate assessments for a variety of medical conditions.
• Foster positive interactions with patients to provide comfort and address concerns during imaging procedures, collaborating closely with technologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Analyze and interpret imaging results, translating findings into actionable clinical insights, and formulating precise diagnoses to guide treatment plans.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, adhering strictly to documentation protocols and enhancing continuity of care.
• Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine techniques and technology through continuous professional development and active participation in relevant training sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives to uphold imaging accuracy and patient safety standards in line with industry best practices.
• Actively communicate imaging findings with referring physicians, contributing to comprehensive patient care plans and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution, with successful completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty leading to eligibility for board certification.
• Possession of a current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States, along with specific certifications pertinent to nuclear medicine.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting nuclear imaging results, with the capability to synthesize complex information into clear, effective communication with both patients and colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative spirit within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Adherence to radiation safety guidelines and a comprehensive understanding of patient safety protocols within the realm of nuclear medicine.

Preferred Experience

• Substantial experience in clinical Nuclear Medicine, including areas such as nuclear cardiology, radionuclide therapy, and hybrid molecular imaging techniques like PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
• Hands-on experience with unsealed source radionuclide therapies in the management of various cancers, including but not limited to thyroid, prostate, neuroendocrine, and liver tumors.

Compensation and Benefits
