Work Environment

The work setting at Brick-Wall MD is primarily onsite, providing physicians with direct access to patients in a collaborative clinical environment. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and embraces a hybrid model, allowing flexibility with telehealth appointments to adapt to the needs of our patients. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with pain conditions, including both physical exams and in-depth patient history discussions.
• Diagnose a variety of pain-related disorders including, but not limited to, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal issues, and post-surgical discomfort.
• Create individualized treatment plans that may include pharmacological strategies, non-surgical interventions, and referrals to ancillary services such as physical therapy.
• Perform interventional procedures including nerve blocks, epidural and joint injections, and trigger point injections to alleviate pain.
• Work cohesively with a diverse team of professionals, including specialists from various fields, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Educate patients on approaches for effective pain management, lifestyle adjustments, and preventive care measures.
• Document patient interactions meticulously using our electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure accurate record-keeping and data accessibility.
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain updated on advancements and best practices in pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physician will cater to a diverse patient population within the Palm Beach community, dealing with individuals from various backgrounds facing chronic and acute pain conditions. The focus will be on delivering compassionate, individualized care that addresses both physical and emotional aspects of pain management.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology, ideally with a fellowship specializing in Pain Medicine.
• Expertise in complex pain management techniques and therapies, including the ability to perform a range of interventional procedures.
• A solid track record in patient care within a pain management setting.
• A comprehensive understanding of coding and documentation for accurate billing processes.
• Familiarity with occupational health standards and practices.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of direct experience in pain management is strongly preferred, providing the necessary background to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a range of pain disorders. Candidates who have engaged in continued education and specialized training in pain management methodologies will stand out.
