Skin Vital Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Dermatologist to join our dedicated team in Maple Plain, Minnesota. In this full-time role, you will work onsite at our outpatient facility, providing comprehensive dermatological care to our diverse patient population. Work Environment

Our clinic's onsite outpatient setting allows for a collaborative and enjoyable work atmosphere where healthcare professionals actively engage with one another to deliver top-notch patient care. You'll be surrounded by a team of experienced dermatologists, physician assistants, nurses, and administrative staff who work harmoniously to support patient outcomes. Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance while allowing you to focus on providing quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Examination: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' skin health, taking into account medical history and lifestyle factors.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose a variety of skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribing Medications: Recommend appropriate topical and systemic medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Cosmetic Procedures: Perform cosmetic interventions like Botox injections, chemical peels, and dermal filler procedures to enhance skin appearance.
• Skin Biopsies: Perform biopsies to accurately diagnose skin conditions, ensuring informed treatment decisions.
• Dermatologic Surgery: Execute minor surgical procedures to address various skin lesions, such as excisions and cyst removals.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on skincare, sun protection, and early detection of skin concerns, empowering them with knowledge about their health.
• Collaboration: Work closely with dermatopathologists for integrated care and effective patient treatment strategies.
• Follow-Up Care: Provide continuous monitoring of treatment plans and adjust as necessary, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Ethical Practice: Maintain the highest ethical standards in patient interactions and data management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: Must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency Training: Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program is required.
• Board Certification: Board certification in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology or equivalent.
• Active Medical License: Valid and unrestricted license to practice dermatology in the state of Minnesota.
• Dermatopathology Training: Though optional, additional training in dermatopathology may be beneficial for those interested.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dermatology practice is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advances in dermatological practices and technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Skin Vital Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $400,000 to $600,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
