United Care Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Care Physician to join our team. This full-time position is based in Arvada, Colorado, where you will deliver exceptional and immediate medical care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art facility in Arvada, Colorado, specializing in concierge medicine and house calls. Our clinic is designed to facilitate patient-centered care with the latest medical technologies and a welcoming atmosphere. Our team thrives in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient interactions and effective healthcare delivery. Physicians will also have the flexibility to conduct house calls, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care in the comfort of their homes as needed.
Provide immediate medical evaluations and treatments for a range of urgent and acute health issues, ensuring a focused and compassionate approach to patient care.
Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, emphasizing a patient-centric methodology that enhances their overall experience.
Triage patients effectively to streamline care delivery, minimizing wait times without compromising the quality of treatment.
Perform a variety of bedside procedures, including laceration repairs, incision & drainage, joint aspirations, and other minor surgical interventions as required.
Manage daily clinical tasks such as reviewing lab results, following up with patients on care plans, and coordinating with specialists as needed.
Consult on hospital admissions for primary care conditions, participating actively as a consulting physician and collaborating with hospital staff to optimize patient transitions.
Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation that meets all insurance and regulatory standards while ensuring timely appeals of any denials.
Oversee a dedicated team of medical assistants and administrative support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and high-quality patient interactions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to our patients.
As a physician at United Care Medical Centre, you will serve a diverse patient population ranging from children to seniors. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Current, valid medical license to practice in Colorado.
A minimum of two years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or a similar clinical setting.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff, showing strong organizational skills.
Desire to be part of a performance-driven health system, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
DEA license is required.
Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice standards at all times.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Availability to work at multiple clinic locations and on designated holidays, when necessary.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems that improve patient management and documentation efficiency.
