Prime Health Internal Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at a long-term care center in Renton, Washington. Work Environment

This full-time position entails working onsite from our facility in Renton, a thriving community known for its welcoming atmosphere. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to concierge medical services, emphasizing personalized care through house calls. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and provide treatment for patients in line with the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with internal protocols.
• Monitor patient care quality and outcomes through data analysis, chart reviews, and ongoing assessments.
• Coordinate patient services, including specialized referrals, hospital admissions, skilled nursing facility transitions, and arrangements for durable medical equipment and home health services.
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary team huddles to share medical expertise and enhance collective decision-making.
• Foster a culture of cooperation by collaborating closely with the Regional Medical Director and Center Administrator to promote a professional and approachable practice environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records and documentation, partnering with skilled medical coders to optimize coding specificity for appropriate reimbursement.
• Engage in continuous improvement discussions with leadership about patient care quality and organizational procedures, aiming for excellence in service delivery.
• Identify and participate in opportunities to expand or enhance services offered at the Center, contributing to the organization's growth initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards, dedicating oneself to personal and professional integrity.
• Focus on direct patient care, integrating administrative duties such as charting and meetings within the context of patient interactions.
• Commit to ongoing education in the field of internal medicine through research participation and continuing medical education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population within our long-term care facility. This role necessitates a keen understanding of various medical conditions prevalent among adults, particularly the elderly, and the ability to cater to their unique healthcare needs through direct engagement and personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Washington, with a willingness to obtain licenses in nearby states as needed.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Board Certification or eligibility for certification through ABMS or AOA in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a strong capability to foster relationships with colleagues and patients alike.
• Ability to function effectively within an Integrated Team-Based Care model, promoting collaborative patient management.
• Commitment to adapting to practices within a value-based care framework.
• Exemplary patient/customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with email and electronic medical records (EMR).
• This position involves patient-facing responsibilities, requiring compliance with a Tuberculosis screening protocol.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a similar outpatient or long-term care setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems to manage patient information effectively.
• Previous involvement in teaching or mentoring roles in medical education would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
