Work Environment

This full-time, onsite position is located in South Bethlehem, a vibrant community well-known for its rich history and access to numerous amenities. The role requires active engagement in a concierge medicine setting, which focuses on personalized house calls and attentive patient interactions. With a workweek of approximately 40-45 hours, we offer flexible scheduling to also accommodate both patient needs and a balanced personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, such as PET and SPECT scans, tailoring approaches to various medical conditions and patient demographics.
• Collaborate actively with radiologic technologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of patients during imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results meticulously to deliver accurate diagnoses, crafting treatment recommendations based on detailed assessments.
• Maintain thorough and precise patient records in compliance with established documentation protocols to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in nuclear medicine technologies and imaging techniques through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives to uphold high imaging accuracy standards and patient safety measures.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians to relay imaging findings, influencing comprehensive patient care plans.

In this role, you will interact with a diverse patient population, including individuals with a wide array of medical conditions that require nuclear imaging for diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree from accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency training program leading to eligibility for board certification in nuclear medicine.
• A full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
• Current certifications relevant to nuclear medicine practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting nuclear imaging and articulating findings within a clinical framework.
• Strong communication skills to effectively relay imaging results and collaborate with members of the healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in all aspects of clinical Nuclear Medicine, including but not limited to general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, radionuclide therapy, and hybrid imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT).
• Hands-on experience with unsealed source radionuclide therapies for treating various cancers, including thyroid, prostate, neuroendocrine, and liver tumors.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $500,000 to $600,000 annually. Benefits include:
