Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic interventions and medication management.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) to maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions.
• Facilitate therapeutic support groups for older adults, focusing on coping strategies for life transitions, grief, and the challenges that accompany aging.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care that addresses both medical and psychiatric needs.
• Stay informed about advancements in geriatric psychiatry to apply the latest evidence-based practices in patient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctoral degree (M.D. or D.O.) in Psychiatry from an accredited institution is required.
