The role requires being onsite, engaging with a diverse team of medical professionals, including Certified Nurse Midwives, to enhance patient care quality. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including conducting thorough history and physical examinations.
• Perform essential procedures, such as delivering newborns, assisting in surgical operations, and conducting non-stress tests to monitor fetal health.
• Offer emergency medical care for unregistered patients entering through our Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality triage and treatment until private medical staff assume care responsibilities.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and programs aimed at improving services under the OB/GYN Hospitalist Program.
• Meet the evolving demands of our NICU by providing in-house coverage for emergent laboring patients, ensuring that care is timely and effective.
• Maintain meticulous medical records, ensuring accurate documentation is both reliable and timely for efficient billing and follow-up.
• Collabrate closely with midwifery practice to provide a cohesive patient care experience.
