Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our hospital, which features state-of-the-art medical technologies and a warm, inviting atmosphere designed for pediatric medicine. Our outpatient clinic operates within the collaborative framework of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring that every patient receives holistic care through seamless communication across specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular health check-ups, developmental screenings, and follow-up appointments to monitor growth and developmental milestones.
• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries, employing evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions.
• Provide comprehensive immunizations and preventative care to maintain the health of children and prevent potential health issues.
• Create personalized treatment plans for children with chronic conditions, ensuring all aspects of their health are managed effectively.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and social workers, to collaborate on patient care and ensure continuity across the healthcare spectrum.
• Educate parents and caregivers on topics such as child development, nutrition, and health practices, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child’s health.
• Participate in the regional pediatric community to stay informed about current trends, healthcare initiatives, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.
• Active state medical license and board certification in Pediatrics.
• Completion of a 3-year pediatric residency program.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner, essential for building trust with young patients and their families.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to accurately assess and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric conditions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with pediatric healthcare advances.
• No significant past board actions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community healthcare setting with a focus on outpatient pediatrics is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient patient management.
• Previous involvement in healthcare education or public health initiatives would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 225,000 to 275,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.
