Work Environment

The position will be based onsite at our modern hospital facility in Ely, Nevada, a location known for its stunning landscapes and close-knit community. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours for patient consultations or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough medical history assessments, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests to determine cardiovascular health.
• Diagnose and manage a spectrum of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders through both non-invasive and interventional methods.
• Conduct and interpret essential cardiac tests and imaging studies, including echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Develop individualized treatment strategies including medication management and lifestyle recommendations tailored to each patient’s unique health profile.
• Execute interventional procedures including angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker installations, ensuring high standards of operational safety and efficacy.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop cohesive care plans, ensuring seamless coordination and follow-up for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health practices, prevention strategies, and disease management to empower them in their care journey.
• Contribute to clinical research initiatives and engage with clinical trials, aiding in the advancement of cardiology practices in partnership with leading experts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution with robust training in cardiology.

• A valid medical license to practice in the state of Nevada is required.

Compensation and Benefits
