Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, managing both routine and acute health issues.
• Conduct thorough annual wellness visits and health risk assessments, employing a holistic approach to patient healthcare that emphasizes accurate documentation and thoughtful care.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations to accurately diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, ensuring thorough patient history-taking and examination techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications as necessary with a focus on appropriate pharmacological management.
• Utilize diagnostic tools effectively, interpreting X-rays and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions.
• Manage chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, ensuring high standards of ongoing patient care and long-term management strategies.
• Engage in team-based care through participation in patient care rounds, effectively communicating strategies and recommendations with other health professionals to enhance care continuity.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Preferred Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a primary care physician.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), particularly the EPIC system, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $200,000 to $250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health Horizon Medical Center provides extensive benefits including:
