Work Environment

This role will be primarily based onsite, allowing for direct patient interaction in our Comfortable Concierge Medicine / House Calls setting. Our practice environment is collaborative and supportive, fostering both personal and professional growth. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an expectation of approximately 40 hours per week. On-call duties may be required on a rotational basis to provide 24/7 coverage for emergencies, with flexibility in scheduling to ensure both patient care excellence and physician work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, which include reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic tests to accurately identify ENT conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate both medical management and surgical options, ensuring alignment with the patients' unique needs and health goals.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and septoplasties, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and equipment for optimal outcomes.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies tailored to alleviate symptoms and support patient healing, while also providing education on preventive strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and radiologists to enhance patient care and educational initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, providing thorough documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and relevant observations to ensure optimal continuity of care.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in otolaryngology through ongoing professional development and certifications to enhance service delivery.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in patient interactions, ensuring complete confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
• A valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Strong clinical skills complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a concierge medicine setting or house calls preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
