This role is based in our well-equipped outpatient office where you will interact daily with a group of skilled healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide treatment for work-related and episodic illnesses and injuries, tailoring care to individual patient needs.
• Administer and assess pre-employment and conditional health examinations and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, including periodic physical and psychological evaluations.
• Assist the Medical Director in managing the Bank’s workers' compensation programs, overseeing adherence to OSHA and other regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate reporting.
• Design and deliver health and wellness educational programs aimed at improving community health, including disease-specific screening and fitness initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Benefits and Leaves Team to facilitate the Bank’s medical leave of absence program, ensuring a smooth process for those in need of accommodations.
• Actively advise organizational leadership on health and safety matters, promoting effective emergency planning and preparedness protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population that includes employees from various sectors, addressing a broad spectrum of health concerns. By providing personalized care and preventive services, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals and contributing to a healthier workforce.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with current licensure to practice in Ohio.
• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant occupational laws and healthcare regulations at both the state and federal levels.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex medical information for non-medical staff effectively.
• Strong collaborative approach and proven ability to build interpersonal relationships within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a similar outpatient clinical setting, particularly involving occupational health, would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms to enhance patient engagement and care delivery.
• Demonstrated ability in developing public health initiatives and wellness programs

Compensation and Benefits
