Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including advanced Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) scans, to accurately assess a wide array of medical conditions.
• Coordinate with radiologic technologists and healthcare staff to optimize the imaging process, ensuring both patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
• Analyze imaging results to deliver precise diagnoses and personalized treatment recommendations to referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and methodologies.
• Participate in quality assurance programs that enhance the accuracy of imaging results and improve patient safety outcomes.
• Communicate imaging findings effectively with physicians to assist in the development of comprehensive patient care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from oncology patients requiring radionuclide therapy to individuals with various other health conditions necessitating nuclear imaging. This role requires empathy and excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be responsible for explaining procedures and results to patients, ensuring they feel informed and supported during their treatment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency training in an accredited nuclear medicine program, ensuring eligibility for board certification.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
• Current certifications relevant to nuclear medicine practice, demonstrating your commitment to high standards of care.
• Strong capability in interpreting nuclear imaging results and integrating findings into clinical settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-first ethos and adhering to radiation safety measures.

Preferred Experience

• Considerable expertise in all aspects of clinical Nuclear Medicine, including general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, radionuclide therapy, and hybrid imaging techniques such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
• Experience administering a variety of unsealed source radionuclide therapies for patients with thyroid, neuroendocrine, prostate, and liver cancers, positioning you as a key asset to our oncology initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary package ranging from $500,000 to $600,000 annually, reflecting your skills and contributions to our organization. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including:
