Work Environment

The Cardiologist position at Heartbeat Health Care operates primarily onsite within our outpatient office located in Valley Stream. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms, ensuring accurate identification of conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and cardiac catheterizations, translating results into effective clinical decisions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate medical management, lifestyle changes, and interventional procedures aligned with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Execute interventional procedures, including angioplasty and stenting, efficiently and safely, utilizing advanced techniques to expand treatment options for patients.
• Establish a collaborative relationship with referring physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health, risk factors, and disease management, empowering them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care.
• Monitor and assess patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
