Key Responsibilities

• Patient Examination: Conduct detailed skin examinations to evaluate dermatological conditions, taking into account medical history and lifestyle factors.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Identify and accurately diagnose a variety of skin disorders, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribing Medications: Provide effective treatment by prescribing topical and systemic medications tailored to each patient’s specific condition.
• Cosmetic Procedures: Engage in cosmetic services, including botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, enhancing patients' confidence and skin health.
• Skin Biopsies: Perform necessary biopsies to aid in the diagnosis of skin conditions and recommend appropriate follow-up care.
• Dermatologic Surgery: Undertake minor surgical procedures such as excisions and cyst removals that address both malignant and benign lesions.
• Skin Cancer Screening: Regularly perform skin cancer screenings and educate patients on prevention strategies and the importance of early detection.
• Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education to patients regarding skincare, sun protection, and the implications of their dermatological health.
• Follow-Up Care: Maintain continuity of care by monitoring outcomes and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Coordinate with specialists and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive treatment for patients with multifaceted health conditions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a dermatology residency training program.
• Board certification in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology or an equivalent body.
• An active and unrestricted medical license to practice dermatology in Georgia.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience
