Work Environment

The Pediatrician will work onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility located in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with nurses, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessing and treating children with various acute and chronic medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct thorough health evaluations through patient interviews, physical examinations, and comprehensive medical history assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, instituting appropriate treatment plans and referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, x-rays, and electrocardiograms, to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures, discussing test results, and providing clear, actionable treatment recommendations.
• Implement emergency measures and provide immediate treatment in critical health situations such as respiratory distress, anaphylaxis, or trauma.
• Document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring accurate and timely medical records.
• Administer immunizations, perform minor procedures such as suturing, and manage common pediatric injuries and infections.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in pediatrics or relevant fields.
• Current medical licensure to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Board certification in Pediatrics, with the expectation of maintaining certification throughout employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a practicing Pediatrician is preferred, although new graduates who demonstrate exceptional potential may be considered.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on quality patient care will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
