Work Environment

The internist will work in a modern hospital setting that fosters collaboration and innovation. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with shared on-call responsibilities among the team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and executing diagnostic assessments to provide holistic care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect current best practices and incorporate the latest medical advancements, ensuring continuity of care.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests—such as lab work and imaging studies—enabling accurate diagnosis and guiding treatment choices.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, therapies, and other treatment modalities while educating patients on their care and managing potential side effects.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and nursing staff, to plan and coordinate comprehensive healthcare strategies for patients.
• Deliver patient education and counseling that focuses on disease prevention, management options, and lifestyle changes, ultimately enhancing patient engagement and outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in medical research and quality improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our internist will cater primarily to an adult patient population, which includes managing chronic diseases, acute conditions, and preventive care. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is preferred.
• A valid and unrestricted MD license in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits
