Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, which is equipped with advanced medical technology designed to facilitate top-tier cardiovascular care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and consultations for patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms. Perform diagnostic assessments, including echocardiograms, stress tests, ECGs, and cardiac catheterizations, to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both medical management and lifestyle interventions, tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Execute interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stenting with precision, aiming for optimal patient outcomes while minimizing recovery times.
• Collaborate with a network of referring physicians and various healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective transitions through the cardiovascular service continuum.
• Educate patients on heart health, guiding them in understanding their conditions and empowering them to engage actively in their treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document clinical findings comprehensively in our electronic health records system.
• Participate in ongoing research initiatives and clinical trials to enhance treatment methodologies and contribute to the broader medical community.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development through accredited CME activities and participation in medical conferences.

Deaconess Health Care Center serves a diverse population, including patients with common heart conditions such as hypertension and coronary artery disease, as well as patients requiring advanced treatments for complex cardiovascular issues. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor’s degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Cardiology.
• Board certification in Cardiology is required, with qualifications in interventional cardiology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiology practice is preferred, with significant exposure to interventional procedures.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating collaboration across varied specialties in a healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits
